Superior Mezuzah Scroll with adornments (MEHUDAR IM HIDURIM)

550

The MEHUDAR* mezuzah scroll is written by professional scribe (sofer) in Israel. The scroll is the essence of mezuzah. The MEHUDAR scroll installed on the proper place of the doorpost is kosher lechatchila even without a mezuzah cover at all. However, even the best possible and beautiful mezuzah cover with a not kosher scroll inside is not a mezuzah at all. Your mezuzah is phenomenal with MEHUDAR scroll inside.

Description

This scroll is not only 100% kosher but also more beautiful and includes a number of adornments (HIDURIM MITZVAH) that tremendously increase the value of the scroll.

The mezuzah scroll is the soul and heart of the mezuzah. You can replace the mezuzah case in few years when you redesign your room but the scroll will stay with you for a life. It worth to spend more on mezuzah scroll ones and have a superior scroll on your doorpost all the time. The scroll is like wi-fi receiver that connects our house to Endless Source of Security. Better scroll means better connection.

The mezuzah is written according to the tradition of ARIZaL.

*What is the difference between KOSHER, LECHATCHILA, and MEHUDAR?

MEHUDAR. The scribes follows the resolution (PSAK CHALACHA) of all main Legal Scholars of Jewish Law (POSKIM, i.e. Mishnah Brurah, Keset Hasofer, Kol Yaakov). One of main Legal Scholars can disagree with this resolution but this doesn’t draw the item down. The general rule is when one argues with many we follow the opinion of many. Nowadays, when people say MEHUDAR they usually mean the beauty of writing. While this is a misconception, one may not contradict the other. The MEHUDAR mezuzah we offer is both MEHUDAR according to Jewish Law and more beautifully written.  Usually the scribe spends more time writing this type of mezuzah and it costs more. We strongly recommend choosing MEHUDAR mezuzah and tefillin. LECHATCHILA (optimally). This means that there is a dispute between the main authorities of Jewish Law. The LECHATCHILA decision follows the view generally accepted by POSKIM to follow, despite the fact that several authorities disagree with this decision. KOSHER. Usually means the scribe follows the opinion of one Legal Scholar (i.e. Mishnah Brurah) and may disregard the opinions of other main Legal Scholars even if the generally accepted decision of Jewish Law (PSAK CHALACHA) may contradict it. Jewish Law recommends to use the item only if the person doesn’t have an option to use the item done LECHATCHILA because the person still can rely on single opinion not to nullify his MITZVAH (commandment) but this is definetelly not the best way to perform his MITZVAH. KOSHER usually means KOSHER BEDIEVED (post factum). It is valid since there is no way to correct it but is not the best way to do it. The writing style of kosher mezuzah is usually very simple. Usually the scribe spends much less time writing KOSHER mezuzah and it costs less. Some POSKIM of our days strongly recommend to avoid using KOSHER mezuzah and tefillin and to choose only MEHUDAR items when possible. The rule is: The MEHUDAR mezuzah is KOSHER but Basic (KOSHER) mezuzah is not MEHUDAR.
